Maharashtra landscape photos to promote Maharashtra tourism through scenic landscapes
Mulshi is a small village around 50 kms east of Pune famous for its backwater lake formed by the Mulshi dam. This backwater stretches almost 50 kms on the north west side all the way to the Sahara Amby Valley Lonavla region, forming great scenic views on the route along the way. On the east side of Mulshi there is Tamhini ghat which forms the boundary between the Sahyadri mountain ranges that separates the Konkan from the Pune region. You get to see some amazing valley views as you descend the Tamhini ghat section.
